Tarantula unites 70+ years of cumulative expertise across live entertainment, music labels, world tours, expos, film production, global marketing, corporate M&A, and finance.

The team hails from South Korea, Japan, Turkey and Canada respectively. Tokyo brought them together to combine their diverse backgrounds and years of experience in concert, film, theater, and event production, talent management, booking agency, energy, and banking.

We utilize global network to provide artists with opportunities to expand their boundaries of expression in original performances across disciplines (music, dance, other arts) to be presented around the world.

Tarantula: Inspired by Legends

We draw inspiration from the captivating legend of the Tarantella. Originating in Italy during the Middle Ages, this legend tells the tale of individuals bitten by poisonous tarantula spiders. These victims would fall into a trance, and the only remedy was found in frenzied dancing.

In this age-old narrative, musicians played a crucial role that we realized. They would encircle the afflicted, searching for the precise rhythm that held the power to heal. Much like these musicians, we at Tarantula are dedicated to creating rhythms of entertainment and artistry that captivate and inspire.

We are on a journey that blends tradition with innovation, where the spirit of the Tarantella lives on in our dynamic approach to live events, art exhibitions, creative directing, and consulting.

Production & Creative Direction

Produced internationally touring art exhibitions including Loving Vincent (100K+ visitors in Seoul), and worked on global music festivals such as Arcadia Spectacular, blending electronic music and large-scale performance art. Our founders have created content and experiences spanning film, visual arts, and live concerts.

Investment & Business Strategy

With over $3.5 billion in financing experience, we have done deals with global players such as Blackstone, Brookfield, and Oxford Properties. We have helped scale high-growth creative companies and led equity investments, M&A, and commercial real estate transactions across Tokyo, London, New York, and Sydney.

Cross-Cultural & K-Content Expertise

We helped launch Korea’s SBS and its flagship music program Show! Seoul, Seoul, Seoul, and contributed to pavilions at the Seoul Olympics and other major events. We have produced films that premiered at major international festivals including Venice, Toronto, and Tribeca. We have played a key role in Korea–Japan media ventures and have consulted on cultural projects for brands entering the Asian entertainment market.
